I am just back from time away travelling in Norway to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and as part of the trip we’d said it would be lovely to get some photos of us. Ashamedly, as a photographer, I am more often than not behind the camera and not practicing what I preach! We had looked into one of my photography friends coming to shoot for us, but we were trying to fit too much into the last part of the trip……a little further down the line, I thought about it some more and wondered about popping one of my cameras on a tripod, framing things and seeing what we could come up with. My phone has a nifty wireless app so I can fire the camera remotely so I knew it was possible. A few weeks before the trip, I chatted to amazing Nova Clarke’s Workshop and she made me a bespoke tulle skirt and Mark wore the kilt he wore on our wedding day! I’ve got to thank Lucy Baker Make UP Mastery who taught me how to apply make up earlier this year….nothing is like having her here to do it but lush to know a bit more about what to do! We got up at sunrise, a respectable 9.10am before the sun made it over the mountains and shot on a beach in front of our amazing Airbnb Havern Vacation Lofoton before hitting the road after lunch and catching sunset further west down the string of islands that make up Lofoten…..it was such a giggle and a lovely lazy day creating some memories that I can’t wait to print!
